Hot take: the flashlight is the best feature ever put on a phone

Night shift nurse, so hear me out. I use the flashlight more than any app. Finding dropped caps under beds, reading tiny labels in a dim room, getting to my car at 3am.

Every year phones get new AI features I never touch. The flashlight has been quietly carrying since day one. No subscription, no update, no “personalized experience”. Respect.
