Moving abroad for work next month. How do I not lose 10 years of photos?

I got a nursing job in the UK and I move in October. My phone, an old laptop and two external drives have about ten years of family photos, all mixed up.

What is the simplest way to put everything in one safe place before I go? Cloud, a new hard drive, both? I don't want to lose my parents' wedding photos that I scanned. Any advice welcome.
