Info: what we know (and don't) about Korea's missing persons review
A gentle summary from the GONOM post for anyone who missed it:
• Police will re-examine about 310,000 missing persons cases closed over the past three years
• It started after a Jeju Western police station officer was arrested for allegedly falsifying records on two cases of people later found dead
• President Lee Jae Myung ordered an investigation and a police reform plan; the interior minister apologised
• The officer denies wrongdoing
• Yonhap reported the review should finish by November
Unknown: how many of the 310,000 cases will actually be reopened. Take care, everyone. These stories are heavy.
