Are game prices fair right now? Trying to see both sides

New releases are often 70 or 80 dollars now, and in Indonesia the regional price helps, but not always. At the same time, game budgets are enormous and development takes five or more years.

On the other hand, a lot of studios are cutting staff this year while prices go up, and many games also have shops inside. So I'm not sure who the higher price is actually helping.

Where do you land? Is $70-80 fair for a big game, or has it gone too far?
