Shoutout to the neighbours who check on old people

My elderly neighbour Margaret (88, sharp as a tack) told me today that a young bloke two doors down drops off her bins and asks if she needs anything every Tuesday. She's never even asked him to. He just started doing it.

It made my whole week. If you've got a neighbour like that, or you are one, you're a legend. Anyone else got stories like this?
