'Could not be replicated by AI' is a strange way to praise a shortlist

Raymond Antrobus said the Booker books 'could not be replicated by artificial intelligence'. I get the feeling behind it. But as praise, it's a low bar? 'This is writing at its best' from Mary Beard says more.

Or maybe this is just the kind of thing judges will say every year now. Curious what others thought.
