The weirdest items on the US-China tariff lists (a thread)

I went through what the GONOM post mentions and I can't stop laughing. The US list (77 categories of Chinese products) includes bed linen, garden umbrellas, toasters and billiard balls.

China's list (1,619 types of US products) goes from butter, lobster and foie gras to coal, MRI systems and... breeding animals like horses, whales and dolphins. Who is buying a dolphin across the Pacific?? Serious bit: semiconductors, batteries and EVs aren't covered, there's no timeline, and US soya beans still face an extra 10%. So: nice headline, small actual change.
