PSA for parents: set up parental controls BEFORE Christmas morning

Teacher here. Every January I hear the same story. Kid gets a console, parent sets it up in a rush, kid has a credit card linked by lunchtime.

Do it now while you're calm: make a child account, set spending limits, set play time limits if you want them, and turn off chat with strangers for younger kids. Every major console has this in the family settings. Takes 20 minutes.
