Are term limits good? Korea's one-term president rule

In Korea the president can serve only one five-year term. No reelection. We chose this after the long dictatorship years, because people were afraid of someone staying forever.

Good side: nobody can stay in power long. Bad side: in the last year the president is a 'lame duck', and every new president starts many new projects and drops the old ones. Long-term policy is hard.

In other countries, what do you think? Is it better to allow two terms, or no limit like many parliamentary systems? I am curious what people from other places think.
