customer asked if my repair price has an "inflation discount"

True story. Customer came in, I gave the quote for brakes. He asked: "is there inflation discount?" I said what is that. He said "you know, because everything is expensive, you should be cheaper."

I am still thinking about it. I gave him a free air freshener. Economics solved.
