Are streaming services deleting too many shows now?

I wanted to rewatch a series I loved two years ago and it is simply gone. Not on any platform. Not for sale either.

I know there are business reasons, tax and licensing and so on. But I think this is bad for culture. Is anyone buying physical copies again because of this?
