neighbours put up christmas lights already. it's october 29th. we need to talk

not even halloween yet. there's a skeleton on their porch AND a light-up reindeer. the skeleton looks confused. i am confused.

is there an official rule for when christmas decorations are allowed? asking for the skeleton
