Living alone through a dark Swedish winter. What habits actually help?

This will be my second winter alone in Umeå. Last year by December I was sleeping too much, eating mostly pasta and not seeing people for days. I am fine now but I want to be more prepared this time.

Things I plan: a daylight lamp in the morning, a walk at lunch even if it is grey, and say yes to more fika with colleagues. Maybe join a choir? Swedes love choirs.

What works for other people who live alone in dark or long winters? I am especially interested in small daily habits, not big things like 'move to Spain', haha.
