Am I daft for still carrying a DSLR when phone cameras are this good?

I'm a working photographer, so for jobs it's obviously the proper kit. But for family days out and holidays, I keep lugging a DSLR and two lenses while my partner gets lovely shots on her phone with zero effort.

The phone is better in some ways, especially in bad light, because the processing is so clever. The DSLR still wins for anything moving, for proper background blur, and for the feel of it. But I'm starting to wonder if I bring it out of habit more than need.

Anyone else made the switch for personal stuff? Did you regret it, or feel freed?
