Playing online from Lagos: ping is the true final boss
Nothing humbles you like hitting someone first and dying anyway because your shot arrived in the next business day. Most servers are in Europe, so 150ms on a good day, 300 when NEPA decides to take the light and I switch to mobile data.
I've basically retired from competitive shooters and now play turn-based games like a wise elder. Anyone else outside the 'big server' regions? How do you cope?
