Spring planting season, and the small museums nobody visits
It's the busiest time on the farm here, so no travelling for me until summer. But it made me think about the little county museums near us. There is a folk museum two towns over with old farming tools, rice straw shoes, and a room about how villages used to share water. Maybe ten visitors a day.
When everyone talks about record visitor numbers at big museums, I think about these places. They tell the history of ordinary people, and they are closing slowly because young people move to the city.
Does your area have a tiny museum like this? I would love to hear about them.
