retired, savings in the bank, rates keep moving. what do you lot do

retired barista from Brisbane. not a fortune but some savings plus super.

rates go up, rates go down, i can't keep up. term deposit? leave it in savings? my nephew says shares but i'm 71 and i don't fancy watching it drop.

what do other retirees here do. not after advice really just what people actually do
