being a teacher and having a side job is normal here now

In the Philippines many teachers I know have side job. Me, I do online tutoring for students from other countries at night, after my class. Some of my coworkers sell food or do selling online on weekends.

The salary is not bad but everything is more expensive. Rice, fare for the jeepney, electricity. I am not complaining too much, I like my work. But I am tired sometimes 🙃

Is it the same in your country? Do teachers or nurses also need two jobs?
