venice: €10 to walk around a city. me: *arrives at 4:01pm*

ok so the day-tripper fee is back, 60 days this year, Friday to Sunday from April to July. €5 if you book 4+ days ahead, €10 if you don't. but it only applies 8:30am to 4pm.

so the play is obviously show up at 4:01 like a vampire and see Venice at sunset for free? or am I missing something? is this a fee or a lifestyle choice
