My children want fast food every weekend. Should I say no?

I am farmer in Batangas. We grow vegetables and some rice. My children are 9 and 12.

Now every weekend they ask for fried chicken from the mall. Their friends go, so they want to go. I understand. When I was child we did not have this option.

But I also think, we grow good food at home and they don't want it. My wife says one time a week is ok, it's family time. I think maybe one time a month.

What do you do in your family? I want to be fair but also not too strict.
