Coalition governments are boring, and that is good
In Sweden we often have minority or coalition governments. Negotiations take a long time and the result is compromise nobody loves. Foreign friends find it very boring.
But I think boring politics is a privilege. When politics is exciting, it is usually because something is going wrong. I prefer my government to be like a dentist appointment: necessary, slightly unpleasant, nothing dramatic happens.
Maybe I am wrong. Coalitions can also hide responsibility, nobody is really to blame. What do others think?
