is it only me or part-time jobs for students became really hard to find?

I study design in Seoul. Before, convenience store or café job was easy to get. Now many shops have kiosk machine and self checkout, and the owner works alone at night.

I applied maybe 15 places this semester. Two interviews. One said yes but only weekends 6 hours.

Is it same in your country? Or maybe I am just unlucky. I don't want to blame machines too fast, maybe the shops just have less money.
