PSA from a doctor: small travel health things people forget before summer trips
Every year around this time I see patients who got sick on holiday from things that were easy to prevent. Not medical advice for your specific case, just general reminders.
Bring a small kit: oral rehydration salts, plasters, your regular meds in the original box, plus a copy of your prescription. Check if your destination needs any vaccines a few weeks ahead, not the night before. Drink water before you feel thirsty, especially if you're walking around cities all day in heat.
And please get travel insurance. I have seen too many people pay for a hospital bill abroad that cost more than the whole trip.
