barista here. the oat milk upcharge isn't the villain you think it is

every week someone gives me a look when the oat milk costs extra. i get it. but the carton we buy costs a lot more than dairy and goes off fast once opened. the upcharge isn't me getting rich, trust me.

that said, i do think some chains charge way more than it costs them. so i'm half defending it and half not. thoughts?
