Is 'soft power' overrated?
Everyone says Korea has huge soft power now. K-pop, dramas, food. Foreign politicians mention it in every speech when they visit.
But does it actually change anything? Do countries change their votes at the UN because they like a drama? I'm not sure. Trade and security still decide most things, I think.
Maybe soft power makes people like us more, but liking is not the same as agreeing. What do you think?
