IMF growth cuts: why do the outlets disagree on the US number?

The GONOM post says outlets even disagree on the US figure. Al Jazeera puts US growth at 2.3%. I'm retired so I have time to wonder about these things: how can there be different numbers from the same report?

Is it different scenarios? Different years? Or just someone made a mistake? And who really pays the most here, the Middle East or the poor importing countries? Curious what people think.
