My summer in Cairo with less AC - what worked for me

Summer is finally finished here so I want to share!! My electricity bill was too high last year so I tried some things.

1. Close curtains on the sun side from morning. Big difference!
2. Wet cloth in front of the fan, old trick from my grandmother.
3. AC on 25-26 not 18. My brother was angry but he survived haha.
4. Cook in the evening or early morning.

Bill was maybe 30% less than last summer, I am not sure exact because prices also changed. But it felt good! Please share your tricks too!
