17 voice actors, zero visas: the Umamusume LA concert disaster

For those who missed it: the horse girls are not coming to Los Angeles. Cygames cancelled both Peacock Theater shows because the performers couldn't get US visas in time.

The detail that gets me is that Cygames says it had lawyers and promoters on this for more than six months. Six months! I've had sandwiches approved faster.

To be fair to them, they are refunding tickets and also paying back flights and hotels for fans who'd travelled. That's more than most promoters do. Still, imagine flying to LA to see anime racehorses sing and ending up just... in LA.
