Sunday lunch with all the family every week: tradition or obligation?
In my family we have lunch together every Sunday for 40 years. My children, their partners, the grandchildren. I cook. It is long, maybe 3 or 4 hours.
Now my youngest son says, maybe not every week, mamma, sometimes we want to rest. I was a little hurt. But I also remember, when I was young, sometimes I did not want to go to my mother-in-law either.
I think the tradition is good. But maybe if it is an obligation, it is not the same thing anymore. What do your families do? Every week, every month, only holidays?
