unpopular opinion: brunch is just breakfast with a markup

worked brunch shifts for years. it's eggs and toast at 11am for twice the price because someone added a sprig of something and called it a 'bowl'.

people queue for 40 minutes for this. i've seen it. i've served it. i'm still not convinced.
