Sakurai and Miyamoto on AI: read the original, not just the headlines

Many people sharing 'Nintendo legends hate AI' type posts. That's not what they said, I think. Sakurai said AI will bring a flood of unoriginal games and most will not make money, and that real creativity cannot be copied. Miyamoto said even if AI does everything, there's always a role left for human designers.

Also important: VGC says its Sakurai quotes come from machine translation of a Japanese interview. Ironic, no? And neither of them said how Nintendo uses AI tools. So we should not put words in their mouths.
