Public sector jobs are boring, stable and underrated. Change my mind!

I've worked for the government in Ottawa for eight years and I love it! Pension, regular hours, I know what my salary will be next year, and nobody asks me to "hustle"!

My friends in tech make more in good years, sure. But every time there's a wave of layoffs they call me and say "maybe you were right"!

I know it's not glamorous and the pay ceiling is lower. But in uncertain times, isn't stable the new exciting?!
