Japan's prime minister count, for context

Since 2000 Japan has had more than ten prime ministers. Several served about one year. One served almost eight years in his second period. The average is distorted by that one.

My office calendar has outlasted several governments. The calendar is from a local bank. The bank has had one president in that time.

I conclude that banking is more stable than politics. Please do not tell the bank.
