Anyone else noticing bigger crowds at women's games locally?

This isn't about any specific league stat, just what I'm seeing in my own town. Our college women's basketball games used to be half empty. This fall I couldn't find parking.

My office has a group chat for watching a local women's soccer team now too. Two years ago nobody in that chat knew the team existed.

Is this happening where you live? And what do you think it's about: better marketing, TV deals, or just people finally realising the games are fun?
