my restaurant boss and Musk have same idea: merge everything

I read about SpaceX and Tesla maybe joining. Musk says good idea, but committees will decide.

My boss in Pune has a restaurant and a catering business. Last year he merged them. He said it will save money. Now the same 6 cooks do both jobs and nobody gets day off. 😅

I think when big company merge, the boss is happy, but the workers maybe not. I don't know about rockets and cars. But I know about kitchens. Is it same thing in bigger size?
