How each outlet framed it
- IPL — the official scorecard: totals, every wicket and Kohli's record pace.
- Punjab Kesari — a fan's report: Kohli's boundaries and a “one-sided” final.
- Deccan Chronicle — the business side: prize money for both finalists.
Where the numbers differ: Punjab Kesari gave GT's total as both 155 and 156 and credited Rasikh Salam with three wickets. The IPL's wicket list gave him two: Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan.
