Question for UK people: will you fix your energy now? Numbers inside

I read the price cap post. From 1 July, typical dual-fuel goes from £1,641 to £1,862 a year. That is +13%, about £18 a month. Gas +24%, electricity about +5%.

About 40% of accounts, 22 million, are already on fixed deals. Cornwall Insight expects October to be close to July even if the conflict ends.

So my question for UK members: did you fix? If you are on variable, why not? In Korea we do not have this system, so I want to understand how normal people decide.
