Summer tournaments in the heat: is this going to be a problem?

The World Cup kicks off this month across North America and half my customers want to talk about it. The other half want to talk about how hot it's getting.

I'm not convinced afternoon kickoffs in midsummer are a great idea, for players or for fans standing in the sun for hours. Is anyone actually worried, or am I being a killjoy?
