AFC Congress in Tokyo, and nobody allowed to speak? Very Japanese meeting
I read about Prince Ali saying the last day of the AFC Congress in Tokyo was 'pure politics' and nobody could speak or debate. Then the AFC said no member asked to speak, and now they send him to the judicial bodies.
I worked as translator for many big meetings. Usually the real talking happens in the corridor, not in the hall. In the hall, everybody already agreed. So maybe both sides are telling the truth in a strange way.
What surprise me more is the change. Only three months ago AFC itself said Infantino made a 'fundamental breach of trust'. Now the AFC president supports his fourth term. Football politics change faster than a Tokyo train.
