Father's Day isn't the same date everywhere! Taiwan's is 8 August

I read the Father's Day post and the NRF numbers. In Taiwan, Father's Day is on 8 August because 8/8 sounds like 'baba', which is 'dad'. So we are still waiting!

I'm curious, when is Father's Day in your country? Is it a big shopping day there too, or just a family dinner? Do kids make cards at school like in the US?
