Went to my first town hall meeting at 68 and I'm hooked!

Retired last year and finally had time to go to a county board meeting. Three hours about a stop sign and a zoning change for a parking lot. And I LOVED it!

A woman spoke for ten minutes about drainage with charts she made herself. Two neighbors who clearly hate each other agreed on the stop sign. The board actually changed their vote after public comment!

All the national noise, and here's where stuff actually gets decided. Go to your local meetings, folks! Bring snacks, it's long!
