ok so I read the heat dome post expecting the usual "South Asia is hot in June" thing. nope. Sukkur and Dadu at 50C, Churu in Rajasthan at 50.3C, the Gulf near 50C, AND France having its hottest day on record with 58 departments on red alert. same week.

meanwhile I'm out here worried about my corn wilting in Kansas like it's a personal tragedy. perspective is a hell of a thing.
