Supergirl: maybe not only the film's fault?

I read the news post and yes $38M vs $170M budget is bad. But I think we should be fair. It opened against Toy Story 5 second weekend which still took $70M. Families had already picked their movie.

On other side, the reviews were not great (56%, B-) and in India Pinkvilla said Rs 5.5 crore vs 7-9 expected. So it is not just bad timing, it missed everywhere. Maybe both things are true.
