is a heat pump worth it in Spain? running the numbers

We are thinking about replacing our old AC with a heat pump that does both heating and cooling. Upfront cost is high. Our winters are short but the flat is badly insulated.

Has anyone done the maths for a warm country? I mostly see examples from Germany and Scandinavia where the main reason is winter.
