is the Mecca pact the start of a "Muslim NATO"?

I keep seeing this phrase online and I want to know what people here think! The Turkish foreign minister himself compared it to Article 5, and Egypt was named as a possible future member!

Architecture student brain says: three founding pillars, room to expand, very NATO-shaped. But I'm probably oversimplifying. Is this a real new bloc or mostly symbolism?
