Watched the eclipse from London at 91%. It was not enough. I need totality

Stood on Primrose Hill on Wednesday evening with a pair of cardboard glasses. 91% coverage, per the GONOM post. The light went strange and silvery, it got noticeably cooler, and that was it.

Meanwhile people in Spain got the full thing: day turning to night, over two minutes of totality, hundreds at the Ebro Observatory falling silent. I'm genuinely jealous.

Next total eclipse is 2 August next year across southern Spain and North Africa. Who's in?
